I have to say this is a heavy duty solid cable. I use it to secure my motorcycle in a parking garage and it does the trick. I have to say though that even being 8 feet long you need to park close to what your securing the cable to because that 8' is halved once it's looped, so keep that in mind. The locking mechanism is a bit finicky also. Had trouble with it once but was able to work the key in, just make sure to gently insert the key all the way in and you'll be fine. Over it does the trick and is a great buy.

I like this product a lot. I use it mainly to lock up my bikes on my five-bike rack. My bike rack is already locked to my hitch. But this gives me the extra peace of mind when I leave my bikes locked to the bike rack. Especially after a nice beach cruise on the bike path, you can go to eat at a restaurant afterwards and have the peace of mind that your bikes are nice and safe.
