For small "hand-sewn" projectsDec 31, 2009

I was hoping for more. The spools hold very little. Also, they're not machine friendly. This is meant for hand sewn projects. It does offer a good variety of colors. I thought this might be the case and (because of the low cost) bought 2 when I made my original purchase. I sorted the different colors out and 2 of these spools might last me a bit, but still..... I gave it 3 stars because of the variety, and there is that.
I hate to sound so negative but I doubt I would prompt others to buy. For "art projects" it might be OK. But know what you're getting. Also, as I said above, a sewing machine can't use the small spools.

Variety of colors, length not enoughNov 10, 2009

I was happy with the variety of color choices in this package but unhappy with the length of each spool. This is better for small sewing projects, not what I really needed.
