When I received the lock I ordered, the lock code did not work. Eventually I returned the lock to Amazon, and I received a replacement. The company's customer service rep sent me a replacement as well, and when I told her that I had already received a replacement, she told me to keep the additional lock as a gift.
Skinny enough to fit through a razor scooterJan 05, 2012

I bought this for two reasons - first of all it's perfect for my grade schooler with the "word" combination. But mainly I bought it because it's so skinny it fits through the back brake part of a razor scooter so he can lock it up at school. The thicker ones won't. We have two of these and we love them.

this is the 2nd review i have writen for this product and i would like to share with you what has happened to this product over 3 months. this product has stood up very well and it has lost a little bit of color but i am not worried about that. i hope you get this product over other similar products.

I loved the idea for this lock and my 10 year old had no problems for the 3 months that it worked. Then it broke and the letters fell off. I contacted Wordlock to get the ball rolling on a replacement and they've been of no help and have not returned my emails or letter. Save your time & money and go with a trusted brand; this product is crap.

"Spin the Plate"
The one thing is that it picks the word for you. Not ideal but okay. Otherwise just what I wanted. Black and thin short cable so not obvious or ugly. I'm using this with a locking briefcase for my Dad who is in nursing care since they are uncomfortable with valuables like his iPad or cash being left out. The combo lock is small but sturdy, good contrast between white letters and black background. Combo letters spin easily and don't stick. Good quality lock especially given the low price.
